Chief Officers

The Crosby Volunteer Fire Department is led by an experienced and dedicated panel of seven (7) chief officers responsible for different roles who form the Executive Committee of the department. 

 

Alan Kulak

Fire Chief

Chief Kulak has served the community of Crosby for over 40+ years, and has served in various roles.  He started in the department as a Junior FF where both his parents served the community.  Chief Kulak has been dedicated in over XX years of service as Fire Chief of the department.

 

Russell White

1st Assistant Chief

Chief R. L. White has served the community of Crosby for over 40+ years and has filled various roles throughout his tenure. His extensive experience is derived from his career with police/fire/ems. He is responsible for overseeing the operations of the department including apparatus and building maintenance. 

Cameron Elles

2nd Assistant Chief

Chief Elles has been part of the Crosby Volunteer Fire Department for 18 years. He started as Junior Firefighter with Crosby VFD and has since then served in various roles to support the department. He is responsible for overseeing the administrative duties of the department and shares some operational duties related to building maintenance/construction.

Brian McClanahan

District Chief

Chief McClanahan has served with Crosby VFD for 9 years and is responsible for overseeing the building maintenance and the Station Captains.

Warren Thompson

District Chief

Chief Thompson has served with Crosby VFD for 11 years and is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the apparatus and the Station Captains. 

 

Jeff Stilwell

Safety Officer

Chief Stilwell has served with Crosby VFD for 7 years and in various roles. He is responsible for the health & safety and risk mitigation of the department. 

 

Jacque Darbonne

Fire Marshal

Chief Darbonne has served with Crosby VFD for 20+ years and in various roles.  He is responsible for overseeing the Public Relations and Fire Reporting for the department.
